Backseat Directors presents: What's HOT! with Life of Films.  Ryan Nevin and Simon Garner join me to discuss the biggest movie news to come out from the month of August.  Lucasfilm and Star Wars continue to steal the spotlight with leaked information coming from Hollywood Reporter that there will be an Obi Wan Kenobi stand alone film.  We discuss what this means for the Star Wars movies moving foward, and the potential outcry if Ewan McGregor is not allowed to reprise his iconic role.  Also coming out of the month of August, huge breaking news for the subsciption based movie ticket service called MoviePass.  MoviePass could end up being a huge game changer for both the avid movie goers and even the more casual cinema fans.  Here are some interesting articles that are definitely worth the read:
